The following is a list of known issues with TechSounds v5.0:
Treo Users: There is no way to assign a TechSounds sound effect for receiving messages. It currently uses the "Alarm" sound.
Options Screen: A few users have reported a problem using the "Options" screen. This issue has been identified and will be fixed in the next release. You may be able to work around it by re-installing any MP3 programs that you have recently removed from the Palm or moved to a expansion card.
Some Alarm Programs: TechSounds alarm sound effects are currently incompatible with the alarm feature in World Clock and Agendus. In order to use these alarms, you will need to turn off TechSound's alarm handling in the Options screen. Datebk5 alarms should work fine with TechSounds.
Some Backup Programs: The TechSounds sound database can cause problems with "Backupman" and the Linux pilot backup tools. BackupBuddy should work fine with TechSounds.
Playback Problems in the Converter: Occasionally, sounds in the Windows version of the TechSound Converter will play with a severe "stuttering" effect. This is a
problem with certain versions of QuickTime for Windows. This will not affect the actual sound conversion process. (It will still sound fine on the Palm.) This problem
can sometimes be resolved by rebooting your PC. Also, ensure that you have latest QuickTime installed.
