1/29/07 - v2.2: Adds support for more cameras including many new Logitech cameras. (See camera guide.) Adds support for video devices with multiple inputs. Fixes a problem where the image could look darker than normal. Adds Italian and Swedish localization. Other fixes and enhancements. The version 2.2 demo will reset any previous expired trial periods, allowing for a new trial.
5/01/06 - v2.1: Adds support for Intel Macs, natively and running under Rosetta. Moves menu options to a submenu. Fixes a quality issue in iChat 3. Fixes a problem where only the local side of the conference would be visible in some situations. Other fixes and enhancements. The version 2.1 demo will reset any previous expired trial periods, allowing for a new trial.

7/5/05 - v2.0.3 b9: Fixes an installer problem which caused installation to fail for some Tiger users. Fixes a problem with Silver Logitech Zoom, Logitech Pro 4000, and other Logitech cameras when using the Logitech 8.0.1 (1.0.7) drivers. Fixes a problem where chats between iChat 2 and iChat 3 could fail to send video.
4/29/05 - v2.0.3 b6: Fixes a problem which caused the program not to work with iChat 3.0. Fixes an installer problem which caused installation to fail when logged in as root. Fixes a problem which caused Cocoa applications running as root with the user bit set to fail to launch when installed. Other minor fixes. The version 2.0.3 demo will reset any previous expired trial periods, allowing for a new trial.
9/28/04 - v2.0.2: Adds compatibility with EchoFX USBVision 1.1.1 ( http://echofx.com/usbvision.html ). Fixes some stability issues when using more than one video source in the case where one source is a FireWire camera. Adds button for opening a video preview to the Video Settings panel. Adds compatibility with the iGlasses plugin. Other fixes and enhancements.
8/19/04 - v2.0.1: Changes logic for Screen View so that it is not on by default. It now must be enabled manually. Adds a warning dialog box for the case where an older version is still installed. Fixes a problem where the iSight was not recognized when plugged in while iChat was already open. Adds "Don't Warn Me Again" button to Energy Saver warning. Adds French localized installer. Adds Traditional Chinese localization. Fixes a problem where using Screen View could cause conferences to fail to start. Fixes a problem which caused poor conferencing performance for some users including ICECam users. Fixes a problem where using some DV cameras would cause iChat to unexpectedly quit.
8/06/04 - v2.0: Plugin no longer requires Application Enhancer. Adds ability to select between multiple video sources without having to quit iChat. Enhances the ability to adjust video settings including the ability to adjust all of the iSight settings. Adds ability to adjust driver specific settings via the "More Settings..." button. Video settings are now persistent preferences. Adds "Screen View" feature. Fixes a problem where iChat would use too much CPU time on slower machines, causing the system to become very slow. Adds new installer and uninstaller. The version 2.0 demo will reset any previous expired trial periods, allowing for a new trial.
1/17/04 - v1.1.2: Fixes problem that caused the preview image to have a green stripe on the left side when using a non-FireWire camera. Fixes a problem that caused the image to be slightly stretched vertically. Fixes a problem where the camera name did not correctly appear as the preview window title. Fixes a crash when accessing Video Preferences on Mac OS X 10.3. Fixes a problem that caused the program to be very unstable on Panther. Adds Traditional Chinese localization courtesy of Gontera Yeh.
12/3/03 - v1.1.1: Fix for problem where DV cameras were not being recognized on G3 systems. Fixed so that the program still works with the iChat Public Beta. Fixed incorrect version number in localized APE Manager information tab.
12/1/03 - v1.1: Added support for the final release of iChat AV 2.0 on Mac OS X Version 10.2. Added support for QuickTime 6.4. Added support for Mac OS X Version 10.3 (Panther). G3 users no longer have to choose "Enable Camera". The version 1.1 demo will reset any previous expired trial periods, allowing for a new trial. IMPORTANT NOTE: macam v0.8 is incompatible with Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) and will cause system hangs if installed.
9/17/03 - v1.0.2: Now allows for video settings adjustments such as "Brightness" on the iSight and some other DV cams. Performance enhancements for FireWire cameras (including iSight). Added Danish, German, Japanese, and British English localizations. Many thanks to Jan and Preben for the Danish localization, Jared for the British English localisation, and Derek for the German localization. Extra special thanks to Akemi for the Japanese localization. Distribution now includes an uninstaller. The version 1.0.2 demo will reset any previous expired trial periods, allowing for a new trial.
8/07/03 - v1.0.1: Fixes two installer problems which prevented installation in some cases. Fixes problem where two Help menus appear in iChat when running trial version.
7/30/03 - v1.0: Now supports DV cameras on unsupported G3 machines. Fixes a crash on certain machines when choosing Video Preferences or opening Preview window. Enhances conferencing speed in many configurations. Adds French localization. Adds "Video Settings" panel. Thanks again to all of the amazingly wonderful beta testers (and testeurs!) who rose to the challenge! Thanks to loligrafi for the French localization.
7/13/03 - Public Beta 2: Fix for compatibility with many webcams when using IOXperts' drivers, including the Philip ToUCam series, the Logitech QuickCam Pro series, and potentially many others. Fix for G3 machines which fall below the minimum system requirements for CPU speed (600 MHz). Thanks to all the beta 1 users who contributed feedback and helped to test various devices and configuration!
