Known Issues

Before contacting us, please review the list below:
  • Upgrading to Leopard: After upgrading to Leopard, you will need to reinstall any Ecamm plugin software. This applies to Conference Recorder, Call Recorder, iGlasses, DockStar, iUSBCam, PowerBoost and the iMage Plugin. Also, please take the time to ensure that you have the latest version of the software. If you no longer have your registration email, use this form to request that it be re-sent.

  • Installation Problems: We have had a few reports of our plug-in software failing to load in Leopard. We have identified the cause of this problem and will have a fix shortly. This applies to Conference Recorder, Call Recorder, iGlasses, DockStar, iUSBCam, PowerBoost and the iMage Plugin. If your Ecamm plug-in software is not showing up in Leopard:
    • Ensure that you have the latest version.
    • Re-install the software.
    • If it's still not loading, please contact customer support.

  • iMage USB Webcam Flicker Issue: iMage webcam users may see a rapid fluctuation in image brightness or a jumpy and irregular frame rate after launching Leopard's Photo Booth 2 or QuickTime Player Pro software. We have identified an issue with the webcam, and a camera firmware update is now available on the webcam support page.

  • iUSBCam Users: After upgrading to Leopard, it may be necessary to install your webcam's camera driver. To obtain the driver, check with the camera manufacturer, or consult our camera guide for driver information.

  • Skype Users: Older Skype versions have Leopard issues. If you are having Skype problems, ensure that you have the latest version of Skype.
